1. Celebrate!!
First things first, take a minute to congratulate yourself. I know, better than anyone, how much work goes into creating a new brand and web design. Even with a professional designer by your side, getting to that finish line is still a bit of a process. BUT YOU DID IT!! That HUGE item that was probably on your to-do list for way too long is now totally CHECKED OFF! That’s a big deal, my friend, so take yourself out to a nice dinner, you deserve it!
2. Give yourself a little time
Give yourself a little time to prep. When your designer transfers your website to you, there are usually still a couple of tasks that you will have to review and possibly update yourself. Make sure to give yourself at least a week from the transfer date to launch.
- Review your site for any errors
- Check all links, Call-to-Action buttons, and text copy to make sure everything looks and works correctly.
- Import or update your blog
- Embed CRM contact form to the contact page
- Connect socials
3. Google Analytics + Google My Business
Google Analytics + Google My Business is an ABSOLUTE MUST for your new site! These 2 tools are how you get your business listed on Google and ranking on search engines.

4. Create a marketing plan
Create a plan to promote your new brand – A rebranding gives you an automatic reason to promote your business. Check out Canva’s awesome reel templates and IG scheduling option to help make your marketing a breeze.
A few ideas to get you started
- Start teasing your launch date on your socials. (don’t forget to snag my free launch graphics in my launch guide – you can customize them to your colors and fonts in canva.com)
- Start gathering an email list, and prep a launch email.
- Create a couple of blog posts to teas your launch.
5. Promote! Promote! Promote!
Promote the heck out of yourself. Let’s be honest, you’re pretty awesome + talented. And now your business + brand radiate that same energy, so show that thing off! There is so much for you to brag about. Screw the “humblebrag”, you earned this one!
