Congrats! You just bought a beautiful new template for your Showit website! But now what?

I am going to share with you how to quickly and easily install your new Showit template, so you can be one step closer to launching your gorgeous new site.

Step One

Find Share Key

Your SHOWIT SHARE KEY is included in the original email or PDF you received when you purchased your template. (look for the reallllly long string of numbers/letters). Copy the SHARE KEY.

Step Two

Add New Template

(if you don’t have a SHOWIT account, you will need to set one up before you can add the new template. You can sign up for Showit HERE.)

• Sign in to your SHOWIT account. Make sure you are in the “DESIGN APP” 
  
  
• CLICK ON YOUR NAME on the bottom left side.
  
  
• When the little menu pops up, SELECT “ADD TO LIBRARY”
  
  
• ADD YOUR SHARE KEY when the next menu pops up.
  
  
•  A peek at your new template design will pop up. Click on the “ADD NOW” button.
  

Your Template is now UPLOADED TO YOUR LIBRARY. Super easy, right?

Now let’s install your template from your Showit library to your site

FOR SHOWIT SITES

Create Your Site

• Sign in to your SHOWIT account. Make sure you are in the “DESIGN APP” 
  
  
• CLICK ON YOUR NAME on the bottom left side.
  
  
• When the little menu pops up, SELECT “CREATE A NEW DESIGN”
  
  
  

• On the next screen, switch to the tab “YOUR DESIGNS” 
  
  
  

• Your new template should show up as an option, select your template and select “START WITH YOUR DESIGN”

FOR A SHOWIT CANVAS – Add Your Canvas

• Sign in to your SHOWIT account. Make sure you are in the “DESIGN APP” 
  
• In the left-side panel, make sure you are on the “PAGE” tab, click on the 3 blue dots next to the page title, and select “ADD NEW CANVAS”
  
  
  

• On the next page, you will see lots of canvas options you can use, including canvas from your current site, Showit’s free canvas library, or your library of uploaded templates. For this example, we will choose “MY LIBRARY”
  
• You will see the canvas options pop up on the left-side panel. You can choose from the list of Site Canvases, or you can access all the other canvases by expanding the list of pages below the Site Canvas list.
  

• Once you select your desired canvas, you will see it on the main screen. PRO TIP: If you already have your brand fonts + colors set up on your Showit account, you can test out your selected canvas with your brand fonts + colors or leave the colors as they already are.
  
• After you have chosen your canvas, click the “ADD” button. Your canvas will appear at the BOTTOM of the canvas list on the left-side (site/page) panel. You can move and customize your new canvas just how you like it. Don’t forget to hit the “PUBLISH” button to make all your new changes live.
